Today's Blog Challenge is to list some things I am thankful for.
It is a little bit ironic because I've been thinking about my need to be content where I am, even if it is not where I would prefer to be.
My Thankfuls:
-Skype to talk to friends who are at a distance
-Being with my family for longer than a month, something I haven't had for about four years.
-Having fall start in September instead of November (Virginia trumps Columbia in that respect)
-Being able to see my extended family
-An opportunity to substitute teach, which allows me to connect with people I haven't seen in ages
-HobNobs from my grandmother
-Emily. She dreams about England with me
A little practice for November : )
Those are good things to be thankful for :) This month, I'm thankful for having a very supportive boyfriend, for being able to see my Gramma (who's visiting me in Canada on her way back from a birthday trip home to Germany and England. She'll be the first family I've seen since last Christmas), for starting to get paid at work and for all the fall treats I'm going to bake!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That is so great about seeing your Gramma! That must be difficult going so long without seeing your family. But, hey, what a great birthday trip that must have been : )
