Due to this spike, I've implemented word verification.
I know it is annoying to type in a random word or phrase before the comment will post.
I hope this will be temporary.

I'm with you. I turned off capcha (or whatever it's called) and then had to turn it back on because of spam comments. It's so annoying and really wish Blogger would improve their commenting feature and make it easier, because many people can't figure it out and end up not commenting- and us bloggers all know how we LOOOVE those comments! - Oh well.
